California Jury Hands Down 26 million Dollar Mesothelioma Verdict

Today a Los Angeles Jury awarded a former plasterer Michael Sutherland more than 26 million dollars in economic and non economic damages as a result of contracting mesothelioma from asbestos exposure. Prior to trial many of the defendants settled. The sole remaining defendant at the time of verdict was Highland Stucco and Lime Products, Inc. who the jury determined was 5 percent responsible. Congratulations to my colleagues Stu Purdy and Jonah King for a job well done. Jeffrey Simon the senior partner is very proud.
