Cohen, Placitella & Roth filed a series of class actions in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. The Court has certified class actions against 9 different companies.
To attack the nuisance of illegal “junk fax” advertising, Cohen, Placitella & Roth filed a series of class actions in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. The Court has certified class actions against 9 different companies.
Each case charges that the defendant sent faxes that advertised their products or services to class members, namely, persons or businesses within Pennsylvania, that did not consent before they received the fax, and did not have a prior relationship with the sender.
The 9 defendant companies are listed below. Each name is linked to a sample of the “junk fax” sent to our client:
1. Blue Jay, Inc.;
2. Buy Wise Marketing;
3. Investment Recovery Associates, Inc. t/a Copier Search;
4. National Business Information Center;
5. Household Health Care;
6. Global QA Corporation;
7. Lighting Kensington;
8. Saratoga Diagnostics; and
9. Zymetx, Inc.
