Johnson & Johnson Ceases Sales on Talcum Powder

Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson announced that they will no longer be selling talc-based baby powder. The New Jersey based company has spent the past few years fighting thousands of court cases centered around allegations that the talc containing powder caused cancer for many who used it. C/P/R’s legal team, headed by partner Chris Placitella, has represented many clients against Johnson & Johnson, and won a notable victory against the company in a historic NJ case where four plaintiffs were awarded a $750 million verdict.
