Because the asbestos defendants have trouble winning on the merits and dealing with unbiased science they have taken to the position of corrupting the published literature by paying off scientists to espouse the defense position. These positions are not only contrary to the mainstream medical literature but to the pronouncements of government and health organizations around the world. Today another bastardization of the literature was published.
