UCP Motor Cars to be held at Citizens Bank Park

Save the date for UCP Motor Cars at the Ballpark. United Cerebral Palsy’s gala event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 13 from 6 to 10 PM at Citizens Bank Park.

The evening will showcase a collection of privately owned, vintage luxury automobiles and motorcycles curated by internationally recognized photographer Michael Furman.

Michael Furman commented on the collection, “We’re very excited by the cars we have lined up for this year’s event. They are all American cars, which seems quite fitting considering our presence at Citizens Bank Park. The ballpark affords us a unique venue to display these wonderful, iconic cars.”

Karen and Stewart Cohen will serve as the Honorary Chairs for the evening, which will also include hors d’oeuvres, dinner, drinks, dancing, live and silent auctions, and the presentation of the Life Without Limits Award to Drew Hawkins, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in recognition of his generosity of spirit and legacy of caring for individuals with disabilities.

Guests will also enjoy behind the scenes tours of the locker rooms, visits from the Philly Phanatic, and unique experiences that only Citizens Bank Park could offer. Celebrity Honoree Andy Reid will also be on-hand mingling with guests.

All proceeds from 2012 Motor Cars at the Ballpark will go to the Family Support Fund that allows individuals and families to access vital community services. Last year’s event at Aronimink Golf Club set records for attendance and amount raised.

The UCP Motor Cars at the Ballpark Event Committee comprises Honorary Chairs Karen and Stewart Cohen; Celebrity Honoree Andy Reid; Event Chairs Mindy and Michael Goldberg; Tribute Journal Chair John Colabelli; and Auction Chairs Stephanie Gambone and Kathleen King.
