Thank You, Chief Justice Rabner

Dear Chief Justice Rabner:

I write to thank you for your leadership during these difficult times. I am confident that I speak not only for myself but the entire New Jersey bar in expressing sincere appreciation for the Judiciary’s efforts to keep our lawyers, court staff and citizens safe.

It is heartening to know that our Judiciary is sensitive to the challenging circumstances we face as lawyers, including maintaining our commitments to our clients and our staff.

While other court systems around the country have virtually shut the doors to justice, our Judiciary has done everything in its power to keep cases moving forward. The Judiciary’s demonstrated ability to adapt technologically and logistically to the rapid and ever-evolving difficulties created by the COVID-19 crisis is both inspiring and comforting.

I am confident that with the continued commitment of the Judiciary, and the leadership of the bar, we will emerge from this crisis stronger and better able to serve those who continue to place their trust in us.

On April 17, 2020, C/P/R shareholder Chris Placitella wrote a letter thanking Chief Justice Rabner for his efforts in keeping the wheels of justice turning during this pandemic.
